Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a financial related discipline from a recognized college/university
- At least 2 year’s commercial experience within a finance team or similar position
- Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
- Proficient in Microsoft packages (particularly Excel)
- Proficiency in financial systems and ability to quickly pick up on new software.
- English Language — Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare and ensure accurate and timely processing to enhance the quality of financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
- Assist in performing general accounting tasks required for the month end close, including journal entries, accruals and prepaid schedules, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in recording bank movements including preparing bank journals, bank reconciliations, cash flow forecast, daily bank statement, and recording client receipts.
- Lead the A/R mainly regarding the visa function, including invoicing and assist with – the Revenue process including revenue reporting, expense analyses and other ad hoc reporting.
- Assist with the payroll process, reconciliation of accounts and maintaining monthly schedules.Assist with various Ad-hoc project work as required and appropriate.
