Job Details:
Establishes local suppliers for company Evaluates suppliers on delivery, quality and cost performance, and finds alternative suppliers to establish cost savings as well as to minimize the risk of supplier failures to the company .Monitors and manages freight companies based on their performance and cost, proposes replacement and change in process as and when required Strengthens the intercompany relationship on internal shipments and purchases. Where possible, try to use intercompany shippers to reduce cost and save time Takes responsibility for stock level of raw material, purchased items, semi-fabricated and finished goods in terms of conditions and accuracy Ensures the availability of materials needed in production and in any other department Takes responsibility for the tool/equipment repairs, maintenance and service as per request Monitors the ordering process and delivery status of goods Together with the Engineering department, evaluates suppliers on delivery, quality and cost performance and proposes replacement suppliers if necessary Team player and able to get on with people of different nationalities Establishes Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures Takes responsibility of the warehouse remodel as assigned Prepares budget and investments to improve warehouse operations and material flow Establishes and visualizes KPI’s and takes actions for continuous improvements Provides monthly reports as defined by corporate policy.
