Job Role Summary:
We are currently seeking Finance or Accounting professionals with at least 3 years of in-depth experience in Financial/Accounting setting for the position of Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant reports to the Chief Financial Officer which have a responsibilities that includes, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Knowledge- Bachelor’s degree required. Masters / MBA degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years prior experience in an accounting or financial analyst roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SAP, Excel preferred
- Business analysis and reporting of financial and operating results
- Assistance with a business unit’s financial plan and operating forecasts
- Advise operating management on cost stewardship, controls, and financial processes
- Responsibility for revenue, major project cost, or other financial processes supporting upstream operations
- Preparing and analyze financial performance reports
- Providing broad financial support to operating and financial organizations
- Monitoring general ledger entries and processing streams to ensure the reliability of general ledger information.
- Providing expertise on the use of financial data, the application of accounting guidelines, standards, procedures, and policies
