Requirements: 
  • You should ideally have a work experience in in hospitality with previous experiences in the Front Office Department within a hotel.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Computer literate and previous experiences with Opera, along with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essentials.
key job responsibilities:
  • Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously
  • Records and control accurately wake up calls
  • Pages guests in co-operation with concerned departments
  • Records all entries on traffic sheets
  • Assists guests with international calls and directory queries
  • Abide by Hotel policies of guest privacy
  • Handle guests needs or requests and report complaints to the concerned department, and initiate the follow up process as required
  • Report on logbook daily
  • Bill call costs
  • Maintain Awareness of local telephone listings and frequently dialed numbers
  • Strictly abide by standards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency.
  • Advise defects on switchboard equipment to Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Attend to all guest queries and requests promptly
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the Hotel’s fire, life and safety system
  • Maintain detailed knowledge on the Emergency Response Team and workings of the telephone room in this regard
