Company: The Regency Hotel Kuwait -  The Room Service Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the In-room Dining, focusing on quality customer service delivery, employee training, food and beverage profitability.

  • Degree / Diploma in Hospitality Management or other related courses. 
  • Minimum of at least Two (2) years working experience in the same capacity in a Five (5) Stars Hotel.  
  • With great attention to detail, quality service, productivity and excellence.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Pro active and guest experience oriented. 
 The key responsibilities include :
  1. Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the hotel’s Room Service operation.
  2. Supervise all Room Service personnel.
  3. Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
  4. Organise all documentation for shift work daily including pre-shift reports, daily training topics, shift floor plan, requisitions for beverage, food and sundries and manage labour daily through the time management system. 
  5. Ensure all staff are meeting all established standards of service through ongoing and recurrent training systems
  6. Monitor and test service skills of staff, retrain and reinforce all standards on food and quality and service details daily. Provide feedback and appraisals as necessary.
  7. Ensure compliance with In Room dining SOP’s.
  8. Monitor and supervise the mini-bar section.
  9. Ensure effective communications between each shift.
  10. Ensure optimal level of service, quality, and hospitality are provided to guest.
  11. Regularly review house counts, forecasts and VIP list and maintain the confidentiality of the hotel and its guests.
  12. Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the amenity set-up and delivery.
  13. Ensure all staff are meeting all established standards of service.
  14. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of In-Room Dining areas and work areas
  15. Plan and conduct meetings for outlets monthly to ensure staff is correctly communicated with and that staff are consistently trained and well-motivated.
  16. Attend interdepartmental meetings to ensure good communication between departments. 
  17. Assist in maintaining all Micros programming for food and beverage outlets.
  18. Ensure that health, safety, sanitation, emergency and fire fighting rules and regulations are strictly adhered to.
  19. Stay up to date with the industry trends related to the field of food and beverage.
  20. Perform other assigned duties that contribute to the Hotel's mission and objectives.
