Requirements:
- The candidate should have a technical education and at least 3 years of experience in the field of metal and glass estimation. He will have worked in a joinery or metal and glass fabrication firm before.
Responsibilities
- To provide a complete breakdown of costs per item of a job that comes in for pricing to the firm. This should help the firm arrive at a firm cost of project in a way that it justifies a profitable project while being aware of quality and client cost requirements.
- Quantity take off from tender drawings
- Materials requisition based on approved drawings post tender
- Format development for new projects that include costing for materials, manpower, and other overheads
- Handle project related submittals
- Coordinate with Projects and Production for all issues concerning project costing and mediation
