Job Description:
- Determine the root causes of the trauma, counsel patients, and work with them to create a plan for rehabilitation diagnose, assess and treat their physical problem/condition and provide physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
- To promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Developing fitness and wellness oriented programs that involve stretching, strength training, exercises and physical manipulation to help people recover.
- Providing stimulation or massage Maintain patients’ records, keeping track of goals and progress Advise patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises Assess the client's level of mobility, strength, endurance and other physical abilities to determine the impact of an illness or injury on physical function
