Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with the Site Manager and Site Engineers to implement Building Design specifications and standards and to meet project deadlines.
- Plan, schedule and assign the daily / weekly work of several crews and ensure crew Foremen observe all safety standards, provide tools, observe hours of work and rest periods, maintain work efficiency, complete jobs on time, complete jobs to design / quality standards.
- Provide the Site Manager with daily / weekly reports as to work progress.
- Verify and approve all time sheets for the relevant personnel and closely monitor work progress to keep overtime costs to a minimum.
- Secondary School Certificate supplemented by a recognized trade certificate or relevant trade training.
- Demonstrated technical Skills in one or more construction trades – Carpenter, Painter, Mason, Plumber, Welder, AC Tech., Electrician.
- 10-15 years of directly related experience.
