Job purpose: 

• Oversee creation of internal audit guidelines and departmental standards for the Group and liaise within the Group, in order to assist their Boards of Directors and Audit Committees to achieve quality internal audit delivery, to facilitate knowledge sharing around the group, standardize the internal audit process and Procedures across the group and source requisite internal audit talent for the Group. 
• The position holder shall be responsible for the following: Establishing Group Internal Audit (IA) Department and the IA Charter which sets out the role of the Group IA function and describes monitoring and assessment mechanism of the IA function of the subsidiaries 
• Overseeing creation/revision and maintenance of (IA) guidelines and departmental standards for financial compliance and operations 
• Sourcing requisite talent, assess skill sets to address longer-term staffing needs for the group and development of internal audit capabilities
• Coordinating assurance activity carried out by regulators and State Audit Department at the group companies
• Reviewing audit plans, audit reports, and follow up, whether raised by in-house or outsourced providers at the group companies
• Quality assurance of IA delivery in the group, so as to ensure compliance with IA guidelines and standards. 

Requirements: 

• Graduate degree in Finance & Accounting and/or Business Management and/or Internal 
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or ACCA 
•  Additional Professional qualification (CISA, CIA, CRA, etc) is preferred. 
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years experience in the Audit field with minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal Audit or Chartered Accountancy 
• Working knowledge of IFRS and exposure to Oracle Financials or similar ERP is desired. 
• Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong Analytical skills 
• Decision Making and Problem Solving skills 
• Project Management and Time Management skills 
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Excellent knowledge & understanding of business processes, internal control systems, and best practices in Internal Audit
• Language fluency (written and spoken) in English language
