Job Title: Program Manager Capacity Building
Job Location: Qatar
Company: A non-profit Media organization “semi-government”.
Job purpose:
To manage the capacity building activities of the organization.To strengthen the work team and assist the general-director in the daily implementation and management of capacity building
activities.
Educational Qualification: University Degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations,
Business Administration, International Relations, Social or Legal Sciences required.
Number of Years of Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience in program management is
required. Previous experience in programs addressed to journalists and/or youths desirable.
Languages: Arabic and English required.
Requirements:
• Good project management, advocacy, communication, public relations and writing skills.
• Preferably experience in the media field.
• Experience in education, adult education or vocational training
• Knowledge about Media and Information Literacy
• Knowledge about Media Development
• Good interpersonal, inter-cultural and leadership skills
• Ability to independent work with minimum supervision
• Learning ability
• Understanding of results management
• Team worker
• Preference for Qatari nationality
