Requirements:
- BSc / BE Civil Engineer
- Minimum 5-15 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in a building construction company of which minimum 5 years in UAE.
- Key skills: full understanding of tender specifications, deep knowledge of building material specifications, familiar with all building construction systems.
- Ability to differentiate between various construction systems and able to request / approve alternatives, floating inquiries with full documentations.
- Ability to verify quantity preparations of technical / commercial comparison reports of various vendors / subcontractors with compliance statements.
- Knowledge of FIDIC is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate terms and prepare letters of intent.
