Purpse of Job
Able to manage assigned portfolios with high level of technical and underwriting know how. Design and implement companies underwriting strategy and guidelines. Able to analyse underwriting information and survey report to evaluate and rate risks. Asses the maximum exposure of risk underwritten in the light of company’s financial strengths and reinsurance arrangements. Able to handle and administer claims through negotiations, with surveyors, loss adjusters, legal firms etc.
Qualification:
- University Degree in Economics,Business Administration in law.
- Professional Insurance Qualification. - ACII or its equivalnet qualification is an advantage
- Min 10 years of underwriting and claims experience
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Excellent interpseronal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer application skills
