Job Title: Legal & compliance officer
Location: Qatar

Purpose of Job
Render expert legal opinion and advise to company’s senior management including the managing director’s/general Manager’s office, the Board of Directors and Department Mangers on all aspects of company’s operations to meet compliance requirements. Review and prepare various contracts/Agreements and defend Company’s interest by way of Litigation, contracts, negotiations, arbitration etc…
Qualification:
- University Degree in law in a recognised University
- Min 10 years experience in legal field including at least 5-3 years exp in insurance industry
- Professional training in Legal/Insurance from recognised bodies as an advantage
- Knowledge of legal procedures and practice in Qatar and other GCC countries
- Knowledge and practise of Shariah laws
- Knowledge of Insurance laws and Practices (locally and Internationally)
- Computer application skills
- Excellent communication and effective negotiation skills in both Arabic and English Languages
