Requirements:
- At least 2 years relevant WPS/Payroll experience.
- A meticulous team player and will need to demonstrate integrity and confidentiality, numerical abilities; and should be able to work within tight time frames.
- Expert in using Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Finance
- Responsible for Monthly payroll for employees (WPS & NON WPS) within a specified time frame and in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Data verification and entry to ensure accurate and timely monthly processing of remuneration payments to employees
- Calculate and process all salary increases (including back pay if required), Overtime, leave entitlements, leave accrual, Deductions, other adjustments and EOSB payments in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of employee’s files in the HRMS and in the Personal File Folder and update changes to any employee compensation details or employee records
- Prepare and process final settlement of employees (EOSB);
- Process leave salary and ticket entitlement of employees
- Prepare and submit regular reports on compensation and benefits and those required by Accounts
- Reviews monthly attendance sheet for staff and workers sand makes any necessary corrections before payroll is finalized and checks are printed.
- Prepares payslip for distributions
- Coordinate with Finance/HR and other related departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
- Creates employee folders and updates file logs; files documents.
- Communicate via email or phone with staff as needed.
- Files documents and performs other special projects as directed.
