  • Have a good working knowledge of the hotel rates, packages, promotions, discounts and vouchers.  Ask questions when barriers arise or in a new situation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in achieving the departmental goals such as Heart Beat, Priority Club Enrolment, Up Selling and control expenses to achieve the budgeted revenue.
  2. Adhere to the hotel credit policy and cash handling procedures.
  3. Ensure that high balances are reported and followed up according to the hotel credit policy.
  4. Ensure the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times at the reception desk.
  5. Ability to work in a team, attend daily shift briefing, taking note of the information given and ensuring you are aware of important information including the selling strategy for the day.
  6. Ability to comply with the shift tasks list. 
  7. Key responsibilities include check-in and check-out as per the brand standard procedure, billing, messaging and guest relations.
