Job Responsibilities
  1. Identification and establishment of local, regional and international supply sources in order to identify the most competent vendors.
  2. Participate in the pre-qualification procedure to include Vendors
  3. Respond to procurement requests by monitoring the process of developing purchasing proposals / purchase orders, with recommendations, for consideration by the approval authorities; includes developing specifications, inviting bids and ensuring evaluation of the same.
  4. Monitor / assess performance and build relationships with key, competent & reliable suppliers
  5. Work closely with Administration & Finance departments to meet the purchasing needs of the employees and departments
  6. Ensure all payments are made to relevant suppliers / vendors as per the agreed payment terms in a timely manner
  7. Negotiate best possible purchasing terms with vendors and suppliers in conjunction with senior management as well as other relevant departments
  8. Negotiate with key suppliers on contract issues as required Skills
