Job Description
- Conduct thorough security checks as instructed by Security Supervisor to ensure all assigned service providers implement the security procedures
- Conduct aircraft security checks of arriving and departing aircrafts.
- Conduct security checks in cargo as directed by Security Supervisor.
- Ensure High Value cargo is escorted whenever the need arises.
- Conduct random checks at boarding-gate to ensure that passengers are requested to remove valuables out prior to retrieving hand baggage.
- Conduct random checks of retrieved hand baggage from boarding gate to aircraft to ensure that they do not tamper with and items pilfered.
- Coordinate with Aircraft Loading Supervisor to check baggage figures under the aircraft if it is tallying between the system, counter and the aircraft to ensure compliance to company’s security program.
- Check on all expedite/rush tags baggage forwarded by MHL to ensure that they are x-ray checked prior to loading on Oman Air flights.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the senior staff of the department.
