• Diploma holder.
• Good command of English.
• Computer literacy is an advantage.
• Good leadership to lead and guide the crew.

The candidate should have good experience in :

1. Asphalt laying procedures starting from primary up to final rolling.
2. Sensor system erection for pavers before and during laying.
3. Methods of asphalt rolling starting from initial stage, sealing rolling and finishing rolling.
4. Timing of paving and rolling to achieve the maximum compaction required and the mix temperature.
5. Setting the conditions of asphalt laying to minimize asphalt wastage.
6. Basic knowledge in testing the asphalt mix before and after laying.
7. Preparation of joints longitudinal or transverse joints and the procedure of joining compaction.
8. Preparation of progress reports and ability to deal with the Consultant.
9. Proper utilization of the asphalt equipment on site and proper management of the asphalt crew.
