- bachelor degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or any equivalent degree.
- Cisco and Microsoft certification in relevant field is essential.
- Must be 35 years of age or above to apply for this position.
- Good communication skill essential to participate in highly interactive conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and short timelines.
- 10 years of experience in field of Network and vulnerability testing.
- Demonstrated ability and technical knowledge in windows security, network security, authentication, security protocols and application security.
- Knowledge of MS Windows 2008/2012, AD & Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Knowledge of network security UTM, IDS/IP, FG or Paloalto.
- Hands on experience with Cisco switches, routers and VOIP’s.
- Team management experience.
- Project management and Leadership skills.
Job description
- Overseeing team of Network Engineers to perform their day-to-day operation and achieving of their objectives.
- A thorough understanding of routing, switching, VPN, Cisco Voice technologies.
- Install, support and maintain new and existing HP BL servers and Win 2008 Virtualization.
- Undertake routine analysis of Windows server logs and take necessary action to mitigate risk of business downtime.
- Implementing SRST and H-Reap across the company to avoid any voice downtime in case of WAN outage or Cisco Call server failure
- Setup and configure wireless network that supports secure access and the ability to support data, voice and video applications.
- Design, setup, configure LAN/WAN and implement wireless networking that supports secured access and the ability to support data, voice and video applications.
- Suggesting for high availability and scalability of switches and routers to avoid single point of failure
- Plans, recommends and assists in the design and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems.
- Configure setup and maintain Forti Gate Firewall, VPN connectivity’s and Security appliances for accessing of business applications.
- Creating and Maintaining VLANs to avoid interfering of the data communication for the purpose of the security
- Undertake routine security preventive actions in order to avoid or mitigate threats which might harm the network by updating IOS, security patches etc.
- Understanding and implementation of network traffic analysis, monitor network usage/QOS using Riverbed anticipate problems and suggest solutions.
- Implement necessary controls and procedures to protect the information system Asset.
