Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in logistics / trading / marine / shipping or a related field.
Previous GCC experience is a must.
Experience in trading / shipping industry is preferable.

Job Description:

Analyzes and monitors of operational data to ensure potential problems are averted.
Provides guidance to brokers, marine agents, vessel’s owners, port authorities on any special requirements.
Follows up the day-to-day vessel’s position, loading or discharging operations.
Maintains communication with respective parties including suppliers, buyers, brokers, agents with matters concerning the ship’s operations and ensures proper resolution of such matters.
Prepares and submits a daily report to the general manager.Follow up with laytime calculations and demurrage issues.
Prepares instructions for ship owners and Masters in case of vessel’s discharging by LOI.
Handles all the required documentation and relevant procedures to ensure fulfilling the port authorities requirements for safe berthing and operations in cooperation with the ship’s agent and suppliers.
Confirms and arranges the shipping documents full cycle from suppliers to end buyers throughout all the stages.
Assists in the preparation of laytime and demurrage/despatch calculations
Assists management in various tasks as instructed.
