Requirements:

You must have diploma or associate degree or equivalent.
Preferably have 2-3 years experience in the airline/air freight industry out of which 1 year in the similar field.
Certification in computer applications MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Access) is preferred.
You will be computer literate and have good communication skills.
You must have TATA/TACT regulations and Dangerous Good Regulations awareness.

Job Description:

You will provide cargo operations and customer service functions including interaction with GHA for both import and export cargo.
You will secure proper operational support to enable station to meet the cargo target and to identify needs and improve cargo services and operational performance for station.
You will be liaising with local Ground Handling Agent and Head Office Cargo to ensure a high quality service provided by QR both Import and Export.
You will coordinate with Cargo Claims Supervisor at Head Office, handling discrepancies at stations and in all administrative issue related to stations.
You will also ensure that notifications are sent officially on cargo arrival information to Freight forwarders/agents to ensure the cargo does not stay under custody of the airline for long period, avoid damages and for space availability in the warehouse.
