Requirements:
- University B.Sc. degree Chemical Engineer, or Electrical, or Mechanical
- Professional qualification is an advantage
- 10 years relevant experiences leading teams within major/large Oil and Gas start-up projects
- 3 to 4 years experiences in leadership position
- Steam Cracker experience will be an advantage
- Experience with FEED and EPC phases of the project
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and manage complex stakeholder input
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results on-time in field of expertise
- Capable to work with multiple systems relevant to plan and execute work
- Proven ability to meet highest HSE standards
- English (fluent) required, Arabic is advantageous
- Self motivated, critical thinker with ability to self manage and driving results on agreed targets
- Willingness to learn and coach others
- Demonstrated ability work in multi cultural, high pressure team environment
- Demonstrated non-authoritative ability to influence peers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong self awareness
- Proven effectiveness in analysis execution and delivering results
Job Role:
- Accountable to lead a team of 11 Engineers ensuring on time, in scope and on budget delivery of project.
- Deliver all civil, electrical and mechanical aspects for utilities at different stages of project until completion compliance with HSE standards.
- Coordinated input with relevant FEED Consultant, PMC Licensors, EPC Contractors and end users.
- Ensure regular progress reviews versus plan, timely follow-ups and implementation of course corrective measures.
- Report progress with accurate documentation allowing clear decisions, agreed action and follow-up timelines.
- Develop and train Omani nationals assigned to the project.
