Job Location: Sohar, OmanCompany: Liwa Plastics Project (LPP) is Orpic's largest project over the next four years, a multibillion Dollar investment which will enhance the company's plastic and fuel manufacturing. LPP is a steam cracker project that will improve Orpic's value added capability by processing light ends from Refinery and Aromatics plant, and optimizing Natural Gas Liquids extracted from natural gas.
As a result annual Polypropylene and Polyethylene production will increase to 1.4 million tonnes from 2018. At Orpic we play significant role in Oman's growth, so if you are performance driven, people focused and want a challenging career, Orpic is the company for you.

Requirements:
- University B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineer
- Professional qualification is an advantage
- 7 years relevant experience within major/large Oil and Gas start-up projects
- Steam Cracker experience will be an advantage
- Experience with FEED and EPC phases of the project
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and manage complex stakeholder input
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results on-time in field of expertise
- Capable to work with multiple systems relevant to plan and execute work
- Proven ability to meet highest HSE standards
- English (fluent) required, Arabic is advantageous
- Self motivated, critical thinker with ability to self manage and driving results on agreed targets
- Willingness to learn and coach others
- Demonstrated ability work in multi cultural, high pressure team environment
- Demonstrated non-authoritative ability to influence peers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong self awareness
- Proven effectiveness in analysis execution and delivering results
Job Role:
- Deliver all Civil aspects at different stages of project until completion and with compliance to HSE standards.
- Coordinated input with relevant FEED Consultant, PMC Licensors, EPC Contractors and end users.
- Ensure on-time, in scope and within budget delivery through regular progress reviews versus plan, timely follow-ups and implementation of course corrective measures.
- Report progress with accurate documentation allowing for clear decisions, agreed action and follow-up timelines.
- Develop and train Omani nationals assigned to the project.
