Job Responsibilities:
- Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Enters data into computer system
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
- Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigates questionable data.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in accounting, is required.
- 2 years to 3 years’ experience in accounting
- Good communication skills, (written, and verbal)
- Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
