Areas of Responsibility:

Attends to fridge breakdowns in quickest possible time.
Plans and executes preventive maintenance service.
Investigation of major component fridge failures and reporting to Regional Refrigeration Manager, Workshop Foreman/Supervisor
Monitoring operational functioning of different brands of fridges.
Suggests ideas for improving performance and reducing maintenance cost.
Install new fridges.

Activities:

Attends to fridge breakdowns on priority in close communication with sales staff.
Accounts for fridge transfer and installation.
Updates Fridge Register.
Gives feedback to Regional Refrigeration Manager for any irregular maintenance required.
Supports refrigeration jobs (Cooling Unit and Cold Stores).
Repairing and preventive maintenance of depot A/C and Fridges
Supporting the maintenance of electrical equipments of depot and villa.
Assists Outer Depot Mechanic for some refrigeration and electrical works.
As part of workshop, he cooperates with all staff in meeting Key demands.
Maintains health and safety working procedures.
Takes care of quality standards as regards to the fridges in the market.
Ensure clean work environment.
Attend to other maintenance jobs when finding free time and as required by his supervisor.

Requirements:
a) Qualifications:

2 years Refrigeration and Air conditioning course from a recognized Technical Institute
Certificate in electrical or refrigeration
Valid driving license, ability to drive 4-wheel light vehicle
Basic spoken and written English
25-35 years of age

b)Experience:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as Fridge or Air Conditioning Technician, with focus on walk-in and transport refrigeration
