Requirements:
Our client, a leading multinational oil and gas company, is looking
forward to recruiting a Local IST User Support.
• University degree - B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering.
• 5 years experience in User Support within an IST team and in
maintenance of networked computers, telecom systems and
peripheral devices like copiers, printers, UPSs, phones, ADSL,
etc.
• Applying Total HSE Policy and HSE National Regulations in its
areas of activities.
• Responding to more than 40 IST Users’ requests for assistance
within the agreed time limits to call-outs.
• Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
• Behaving well and establishing good working relationships with
end-users.
• Installing and confi guring computer hardware operating systems
(Total One VISION) and applications in all TEP Dubai offi ce
environment and location and also some other OPCO users who
will come to the offi ce when they need support.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving hardware / software
faults.
• Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge of Arabic is
useful.
• Well-behaved, easily approachable with a developed team spirit
• Organized and able to work autonomously, with the ability to
train others in various conditions.
