Requirements: Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing required. An active, current registration and License as a Registered Nurse required. A minimum of two years of occupational health nursing required. Good working knowledge speaking/reading English required. Knowledge of needed standards of laboratory services and laboratory capabilities in various Qatar facilities required; ability to initiate and develop local contacts to ensure quick access to highest standard available healthcare; good working knowledge of current health promotion recommendations in the U.S.; and ability to operate specialized medical equipment required.
Duties: The incumbent is responsible for a wide scope of services including: development and administration of an occupational health clinic, providing primary health care to adults and children, administering a vaccination program, providing urgent and emergent care or coordination of such care on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis, coordinating medical clearance examinations and performing other related duties.
